Over the past few months, we have been back on the road with Pepper & Honey touring across England to village halls and local libraries, working with rural touring partners, with support from Arts Council England.
We adapted the set and lighting so that it could work in lots of different spaces and over the autumn performed in thirteen different venues and received some amazing feedback:
“Tina was amazing as the two very different characters in the play, with a swish of the headscarf or the tying of an apron, completely evolving into the grandmother or granddaughter. The interactive element of the play really involved the audience, with the two people chosen, who turned out to be multilingual and who provided a new angle to the scene by replying in their mother tongue!”
