DadMan is a warrior. He stands strong at the gates of an ideal Birth-Plan and sings the blues about Being the Only Man at A Parent and Baby Group. He courageously navigates the precipices of School Runs. DadMan enters the contest for the title of The Breadwinner armed with swords and Lego.

BOSA is a site-specific work that explores belonging, community and the rituals and experiences of migration, settling-in, and the concept of Home.
The story at the heart of BOSA is of a woman leaving her home and building a new life in a new place. Through her present day experiences working as a carer, and the memories of her grandmother, the story explores how those who migrate find a sense of belonging.

So, What is “Home”? That’s the question Ana, a young Croatian woman, poses as she settles in the UK. Ana has been on a journey. Croatian born, she’s arrived in the UK, determined to make it home. As she focuses on life in this new land, she is haunted by the voice of her Grandma- calling for her to stay true to national identity and yearning for Ana to come home. As Grandma bakes her traditional Croatian pepper biscuits (believed to bring a loved one back home), will this be enough to be reunited with her granddaughter? But what is “home” to Ana now?
