On October 16th 2015 at Young Vic Theatre in London we participated at the launch of Parents In Performing Arts (PIPA) initiative. In practice, this meant having a full theatre with over 400 people and over 70 children discussing the reality and the future of being a parent in the industry. This positive experience proved that having kids present at the conference resulted in a very unique, but well managed, responsible and humane atmosphere, which is a practice we look forward to seeing develop.
PIPA’s work is currently focusing greatly on improving the services for London artists, and we are going to be this initiative in the Midlands.
